  • It's definitely the Mambas u20 team.
The swazi press gave as a normal international, in the Mazambique press i'm not sure it was even mentioned.
I keep it in my records, but as an "non fifa" kind of game....
Also we only have 10 of the 11 from the Mocambique team. I have the same players, not sure who's missing.

Incidentally, for those who have inquired about my health, I am now off dialysis and more or less back to a normal life (or as normal as it can get with only a 20% kidney function!). I am starting a new job in January; not in Thailand this time but in the Czech Rep. This will probably curtail some of my activities on this site, but I'll do my best to keep up to date. My new boss is, after all, a former Czech league player!

  • Well, the kidney function is slowly creeping up, although the scientist in me (I'm an industrial chemist by trade) says the results are within experimental error! It's currently running at 22%; given that it was 4% in April I think that's a major improvement. I'm still on maintenance treatment after the chemotherapy and I do have to be careful what I eat but overall things don't look too bad.

Glad to hear that, I really hope that this turns out good. Wish you all the best, I often think of you. I only know all of you people because of football statistics, but I am really very fond of every member of this little cabal.
