I think 11v11 has the solution. The confusion is the RSSSF report had a Wilmer Lopez coming on and a Wilmer Arguedas starting. This is the same person: WIlmer Andres Lopez Arguedas. it therefore seems that Juan Carlos Arguedas is the actual starter and he's the one to come off for Frander Segura.
It actually leads me to another match with the same problem: Jamaica v Costa Rica 1996-10-09
Paul Davis named a starter and a substitute. The RSSSF file has this but the 11v11 report has Fabien Davis as the starter and substitute instead! I think we can decide that both do play, but I'll leave it up to you who's the starter and substitute.

Just a duplicate of Wilmer Lopez and Alexander Madrigal in the lineup. Madrigal the starter.
This is a curious one. In the backend, we have Frander Segura coming on for Wilmer Lopez in the 61th minute. You can also see that in the match events. But we have that curious substitution showing up in the starting line-up, where no subs should be anyway. I have to ask Florian about this, seems to be a more difficult problem with how the database is handling players which get get substituted in and then later out again.
If taking it down during the internationals is easier for you and gives you time to do all those other things then by all means keep doing it. We'll understand. It did feel like I'd lost my left arm though. I'm right handed, but still.

Basically the domestic structure of Pakistani football has always been a mess. Instead of traditional based clubs, we either had regional based "provincial" and "divisional" selections, and the usual "departmental teams" (think of the Soviet era with government institution based clubs such as Pakistan Army, Railways, WAPDA etc which still dominate the domestic setup) at the top tier National Football Championship (1950-2003). The regional selections look like they were phased out after the introduction of the Pakistan Premier League (2004-present), but unfortunately we still haven't got rid of these outdated "departments".
Sometimes we had the "provincial teams" (which are the largest administrative units of Pakistan) playing in the season, sometimes "divisional teams" (second level unit which the Karachi Division is) and sometimes both played at same season.
Since the RSSSF page on Pakistan domestic history doesn't have every season in detail and I also lack exact info on these teams I think we can skip this "Karachi Division" team or selection for the time being, maybe in future we get more info and clarity on this. Thats why I'm also cautious of mentioning the club career for old players, it's a complete mess as looks like sometimes certain players represented the regional selections at one point while other times they played for the departmental teams.
I think the List of football clubs in Pakistan wikipedia article might provide more clarity on this.
I love this post, because it really illustrates how difficult our job is concerning some of the countries. And yes, I think we should skip that club at this time. Also, siebenw really hates it if we add provincial teams that play parallel to "real" leagues.
I experienced the same, feeling that 10% of what I reported in my messages to NFT (national-football-teams.com) was either left out completely or was given incorrectly. That was very annoying in the beginning, but by the time I started to understand the reasons behind which is basically the missing menpower as this site is technically run by Benjamin alone. So besides his 4 or 5 main tasks, checking the forum just comes at 6th place or something like that, while the forum could actually needed a forum moderator having the moderation as his first task (similiar to the feedback send by email). So, we have to understand that Benjamin can't go completely into details regarding all the forums posts and has several mistakes when trying to put online a huge data amount in short time.
Demetrius I love especially your messages. Your forums post are well structured, in particular by setting own threads per theme and the info is quite clear. Personally, I love having the player's lower league club affiliations as these are the ones which are generally missed here on NFT.
My personal conclussion had been, that I just started to re-read the cases I reported after Benjamin has processed with my reported cases, and then reporting the 10% forgotten/wrong edited cases again, trying to be more clear on the cases I may wasn't clear before and forgiving the mistaken cases. We all do mistakes and the more we do the more mistakes happen, and Benjamin does a lot.

I would be very suspicious of thi information. It comes from Vavel, which is an extremely unreliable source. Jordanian reports have al Naimat scoring from a pass by al Mardi, neither of whom are listed in this lineup. I suspect this may be the list of Jordan's subs.

This is comparable to the Brazil v Romania 1991-04-07 match. It's a question of whether you keep both, remove both or have Romania down as a 'B' team and just remove their lineup in both, but keep Brazil's.
Don't know about this one at all, maybe some more opinions. Again, it comes down to what is important at the moment. I would probably make it unofficial matches against a romanian B team, but that would probably mean deleting romanian players. I don't think I care enough at the moment, and I will want to wait with deciding after we added the next batch of internationals. But please do offer your opinions.

Yes, for now I think we are leaving them out.
These questions will become increasingly difficult the further back we go in time. There are many countries who count games against some league, olympic or B teams as full internationals. We have no idea what FIFA thinks about all of these games nowadays. We have to make up our own rules, and they will not always make 100% sense. Luxembourg for example have for a long time mostly played against B teams, and see all of those games as fullinternationals. I want to include those games as non-FIFA games, but that does not mean that we will add all games against B teams that were ever played by A teams. We have had difficult discussions about which olympic games to include. Most eastern european, asian and african teams (and some more) consider nearly all of the games that their olympic teams played as full internationals, while western european and south american teams don't. It's difficult, and what we do will not please everyone.
So I think that we need to focus on games that are clear cases. We should also add games which are considered full internationals by one of the two countries, but these are less important. And we will have a big discussion about olympic games from 1948 to 1980 in a separate thread, to get all of your views. But it is a problem that you can talk about many of these games forever, and then lose time in which you could actually add the games which are clear cases. And we do have limited for those discussions. Also, every time we include a game against a B team, or which is olny official for one side (or any of the other strange cases), I tend to get angry mails demanding that I should include this or that game. And again, all of that costs time that could be spent on the clear cases. Also, I know that I should not let unfriendly people on the internet get to me, but unfortunately they do upset me a lot.
HI. I am a newly registered member, although I have been following National Football Teams for many years.
I have the most comprehensive records and database of the AFC Asian Cup that includes results and line-ups. This is a project that started more than two decades ago and is still not complete due to the poor archives and record keeping in the Asian Countries. The full list is incomplete as there are several matches that have no lineup data and due to that, the intended site is still not ready to be published.
I will be publishing the missing Asian Cup lineups soon as I am seeking the assistance of everyone here who has information, especially the earlier edition from 1956 to 1980.

I can tell you one thing - this CHAN is the last one I will be doing. I think it is great that you put all this information together, so thank you very much. But I am not having any fun adding all these players who would never play in their respective A teams, and it is getting worse every tournament. It takes forever to work though these games, and I'd rather be doing something else for the database. Anything else, really. I know that it will annoy a lot of people if we stop adding these, but after this tournamnet, I will not be doing another one.
So if we find someone from our team who is willing to put all the work into these games, or if someone from outside wants to do it, that's great. But I am out.
They don't appear in the linked CHAN 2nd qualifier round because this round is set as home and away fixture. That means there will be only 1 home game and 1 away game shown. As Uganda has had two home-games, just the first game is shown.
