criteria to let a player belong to the database ?

I am surprised by the inclusion (or not) of some players in the database.
I know that first of all, you include players who where called up for at least for one WC2006 qualifyer. But what about the others ?

For example, France national team includes Olivier Echouafni (who should be thrown out, otherwise he would be included here : http://www.fff.fr/servfff/histor…herche_joueur=e) but not greats such as Marcel Desailly, Laurent Blanc, Didier Deschamps or Emmanuel Petit...
Also not included are stars like Gabriel Batistuta, Davor Suker, Peter Schmeichel, George Weah, Ivan Zamorano, Claudio Taffarel, Gheorghe Hagi... I know that they're old and retired but as the database also includes some retired anonymous players... why not ?

So I can make a list of players to add in priority (considering their high number of caps, their pretty recent date of retirement) whose club carrers are well informed in the SoccerAssociation Website (as you are a SA member). Let's do it little by little...

The problem is that I'm not a computing expert and that I can't register my profile ("the confirmation code is wrong"). If these are absolutely necessary conditions to use the database, I'lle be compelled to let you add the stuff...

This is the list of European players I wanted to add. As a general rule these are players with more than 50 caps who still played after 2000... I added extra players whom I regarded as important.
It's not necessary to update everything the same day.
The players'club carrier can be found @ SoccerAssociation. I noticed if the player became a manager (which is not the same SA category). In brackets, you have the players were active for their national team.

Yes, I'm intersted in having access to the database, more to catch up than to bring permanent latest news, as it can help.

And what I enjoy in this site is that it provides original information. Thousands of sites cover major European leagues. Some great sites focus on one country's league and national team. But this site is the only one which deals with all the national teams. That's why I prefere to see all the A-teams info concentrated in this site than to read dozen of separated sites.
