Missing Data

  • For Tunisia 2005, no missing data listed but it seems one match is missing, most likely against Congo DR. Match was abandoned but it's still FIFA recognized. http://www.footballdatabase.eu/football.coupe.tunisie.rd-congo.17419.en.html South Africa vs. Swaziland on 29.5.08 listed as missing... delete it. Apparently it was a training match and it's non-FIFA.

  • A few more that FIFA didn't like last week. Don't see what was wrong with the Jordan Indonesia match. Even before the game Iraq v Malaysia was removed, because "Iraq hadn't informed FIFA of the game." I found the fixture on FIFA's website a fortnight earlier, so I don't know why they think they hadn't been informed! • I've left aside (for the moment) some of those which look monstrous to me... I've just updated today's Luxembourg v Armenia but I'm not quite sure I had all the correct info (mainly for Armenia - updated it from a livestream in Luxembourg), I'll keep an eye on it later..
  • Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan shouldn't be added. They agreed before hand that it would be unofficial and apparently informed FIFA accordingly. Perhaps it's why it was never listed by FIFA to begin with. Bahrain-Singapore was listed by FIFA but was deleted before it took place. Based on Singapore's subs, perhaps it was also just a training match. Don't know what to make of the Iraq-Malaysia game. Both parties didn't want it to be televised?? Perhaps an indication it was an unofficial match and even backed up by the number of subs used by Malaysia?

  • Iraq team against Malaysia now available. I'm a little suspicious of one of the subs, however. It was claimed that they all came on at halftime, but Jalal Hassan and Mohamed Hameed Farhan are both goalkeepers!

  • Yesterday's games. I'm sure Thailand used other subs, but so far I haven't been able to find them. It's still on FIFA at the moment but it's obvious that the Senegal team is only a locally based 11. That being said, it is the same team that played against Chile, and if that is an A match then, theoretically, so is this one, as Libya seem to have put out a strong team based upon the goalscorers (all the info I've found so far.)
  • Thailand's lineup against Qatar, I don't think there was a Suttisakri that played or was even part of the squad. It should be Narubodin Weerawatnodom. The subs, I've got six and not sure if there's more; Artit Daosawang, Weerawut Kayem, Ekaphan Inthasen, Thitipan Puangchan, Chanathip Songkrasin, Kirati Keawsombut. Interesting to note is that Thailand actually used their proper kit. For the past couple years at least, they've been using their training kit and they usually use excessive subs. Not this time it seems and instead it's their opponent that used excessive subs. Anyway, some older data. South Africa's lineup vs. Botswana 16.1.2008 Goals: Moon, Zuma Moeneeb Josephs, Bryce Moon, Nasief Morris, Benson Mhlongo, Brett Evans, Steven Pienaar, Aaron Mokoena (Kagiso Dikgacoi), Teko Modise, Siphiwe Tshabalala, Surprise Moriri, Sibusiso Zuma. Other subs used: Lerato Chabangu, Elrio van Heerden, Thembinkosi Fanteni. Some corrections for South Africa: 1992 - Phil Masinga minus 1 goal; Sam Kambule add 1 goal 2000 - add 1 goal Delron Buckley
  • Indeed the missing player from Thailand is Narubodin Weeratnodom. Also, from the Thai articles that I had translated it seems Songkrasin came on for Thonglao (84), and Keawsombat for Kitprongsi (70), but no articles mentioned more subs unfortunately.
  • For the Malaysia 1-4 Saudi Arabia match this site, usually reliable, lists 11 subs for Malaysia: http://malaysiafootball-dimos.blogspot.nl/2010/02/senarai-pelatih-fasa-1-feb-23-mac-4.html 22 Khairul Fahmi (23 Norazlan Razali 46'), 2 Mahalli Jasuli (7 Aidil Zafuan 46'), 3 Faizal Muhammad (6 Reuben Thayaparan 46'), 4 Asraruddin Putra (21 Zubir Azmi 37'), 9 Norshahrul Idlan (C) (10 Manaf Mamat 65'), 13 Shakir Shaari (15 K.
