p.s. I am not 100% sure, but most probably that Kipson Atuheire was the only substitute in the match.

  • Zanzibar 09.01.2009.

RWANDA - 1. Patrick Rutayisire, 2. Bonny Hategikimana (3. Yahya Vigurumera/20. Papy Nkunda), 5. Yves Twajamahoro, 7. Pekeyake Tuyisenge (4. Donacien Tuyizire), 6. Aloua Gaseruka, 10. Kamana Bokota, 13. Elias Ntaganda, 15. Ismael Nshutuyamagara (captain), 16. Eric Gasana, 17. Jean Lomami (20. Papy Nkunda)

Scorers - Kamana Bokota (12'), Jean Pierrre Hakiri (15'), Jean Lomana (39')

There is some controversy about this match. Some sources say that one of the scorers was Jean Bosco Gasana??, some say Eric Gasana, and the source page says that the scorer for Zanzibar was Nadir "Canavarro" Haroub in 21', although Zanzibar lost 3-0!

p.s. I think Yahya Vigurumera is actually Yahya Ugirumurengera

  • Added all the line-ups, thank you very much. The only thing I didn't understand was the second goalscorer in Rwandas game against Tanzania in 2009, because Hakiri isn't mentioned in the line-up.

Cursing at sudanese football line-ups since 2004.

  • Quote from boca

We have contradictory informations on Jean-Claude Iranzi. As a birthplace, we have Kigali, Rwanda. This article: http://www.newtimes.co.rw/section/article/2014-04-04/74359/, however, says that his birthplace is Democratic Republic of Congo. The birthdates also don't match (we have 1992-12-04, the article says 1990-10-05)...

This is a common issue with pretty a big chunk of African players. DoB isn't clear with different DoB's reported and in some cases the PoB's aren't clear either.
