    Great find.

To answer your question, this match is non-FIFA as Bhutan did join FIFA in 2000, so we can only consider their matches from 2000 ongoing as full FIFA internationals.

Even the Bhutan Football Federation has been founded in 1983, meaning after that match.

Now, after that easily data proven part of my answer I come to the part I conclude from what I read over the years when doing Bhutan research. The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) did invite nearby Bhutan to their annual ANFA Cup during which hosts Nepal faced Bhutan. Historically, this Bhutan selection (called 'Druk 11' by that time) was considered as the first Bhutanese national team, even if most players were naturalized foreigners (Indians in first place) playing for local Bhutanese clubs. Most of the time this Druk 11 played other regional selections or local clubs, which we can't consider as international matches until that match vs Nepal in 1982.

    ...
I've also got a very strong suspicion that Tahir Saeed is actually Maher Al-Sayed in disguise.

Maher Al-Sayed did score in a february friendly, but didn't appear in the march/april line-ups. In latin a handwritten "M" may could have been missread as a "T". Or in arb "مـ" for "طـ". So, chances are good it has been in fact Maher Al-Sayed.
But still, I would like to hold this back for the moment, until a larger Syrian review, or until we get some further feedback on these two matches.

I think you are right about the 2009-06-17 match vs Saudi Arabia. Also the FIFA match report says #4 Pak Nam-Chol (the general #4 of the 1985 born). I als watched the youtube video a bit, I can't recognize the player's face clear enough, but I can see clearly #4, so we can exclude the possibility of a wrong line-up.

Here you are wrong. The team pic is clearly showing the 1985 born with his general #4.

About the 2007 matches, I don't know. The player had #5, would either let me think to the 1988 born, who switched shirt numbers a few times, but I don't have any of the two team pics.

    Two points:
    1) 2000-02-16 vs Kuwait:
both sources, Yemen-team and NFT-source had no complete 11. So rather than having a starting line-up I just can assume these were the players to have seen action. As we have now two different GKs, I just can assume a GK substitution. That way at least both get their cap.
... until we get a complete match report

    2) I am not sure Mahmoud Sharaf means Mahmoud Al-Kahsa. By the FIFA report the entering #12 was Sharaf Mahfoodh (misspelled), while Mahmoud Mohammed Ali Al-Kahsa was #7. I know FIFA could be wrong with the entering sub, but would like to have a different source before crediting Al-Kahsa that match.

I spotted several more double-credit players. So, a long night. Ro83rto thanks for searching this Yemen info.

Your reasoning behind number 17 is the exact reason I didn't recognise El Tahir either. He does look different here, but I've no reason to disagree. As soon as barkerrp mentioned Musa Al Zoma I could see him being the number 3, more so than Badreldin Galag, so we do differ there, but again that might just be number recognition. Just having another look now though, number 3 could be Tareg Mukhtar.

Indeed #3 looks a bit more like Tareg Mukhtar than he looks like Badreldin Galag and Musa Al-Zoma. Still he isn't clear too me. Other than Galag and Al-Zoma he isn't listed on BakerRP's used players list. So if we are wrong with Galag or Al-Zoma they came at least as a sub (and at least their cap would be correct). While Tareg Mukhtar may didn't play at all, and we are not sure about him like we are sure about Hafez and Tambal (who weren't on BakerRP's list).
So I would kept the line-up this way, until we get further infos or further feedback, maybe from the Sudani user(s).

Sudan team that I have is:

Khalid JOLIEAT, Amer KOKO, Mohamed KHODER, Musa AL TAYEB, Badreldin ABDALLAH, Aladdin YUSUF, Omar BAKHIT, Saif IDRIS, Haitham MUSTAPHA, Muhannad EL TAHIR, Mudathir AL TAHIR

There isn't any keeper listed, so I assume these 11 players to have played either as starter or entering sub.

Goalkeeper looks like Hafez Ahmed / 8 is Haitham Mustafa / 10 is Haitham Tambal / 9 looks like Saif Mesawi (Goalscorer) / 2 could be Omer Bakhit / 4 could be Muhammed Safari / 3 could be Musa Al-Zoma / The player bottom right I'd take a punt at Mohanned Al-Tahir. The 2nd player in, back row could be Alaaeldin Yousef. The 3, 17 or 15 I can't even guess at.

Edit: Thanks to bakerrp I can now guess the 3 could be Musa Al-Zoma and the 15 could be Amir Damer. Still don't know number 17.

Many thanks for your expertise. In green are the player I can see, too, In yellow are players I would put a questionmark behind, for example #17 Mudather Al-Tahir Karika to complete the picture. Maybe I am tricked because of his usual #17. On the pics I have from Karika he has a different hair line, though I just have pics from him being older. In red are players I don't see at all, Musa Al-Tayeb Al-Zoma looks different to me. So, it's more likely that #3 is Badreldin Abdalla Galag, though he usually had #9 and still I can't recognize him exactly. So, it may could be a complete different player like Tambal or Hafez who weren't on BakerRP's line-up but are clearly pictured.

22/05/08 Yemen 1 Sudan 1 Ali Mohsin Muraisi, Sana’a Ali BARI (Yemen)

YEMEN Saud AL SOWAIDI, Basem AL AQEL, Abdullah OMAR, Haitham THABIT, Humood QASSIM (Ali MUBARAK 46), Ala’a AL SASI, Akram AL WORAFI, Ali AL OMQI (Ali AL NONO 62), Yaser BA SUHAI (Saleh AL SHEHRI 74), Zaher AL FADHLI, Moaz ASSAG

Goal: Assag 49 Missed Pen: al Worafi 24

I have the SUDANi team pic of that match. Some familiar faces, but I never really worked it out. Maybe we have some Sudani user(s) here who can make something out of it.

... Good chance Hani Thabit is actually Haitham Thabit. Abdulla Al-Wadi is Ahmed Al-Wadi instead...

Yes, on the match reports Hamada Al-Wadi is listed for both, so that should be correct.

About Hani Thabit I am not sure, for the game he is entering as a substitute Yemen-Team doesn't have subs. Hani and Haitham sounds quite different. I'd prefer to wait. Maybe Yemen-Team or someone else will get subs to doublecheck.

Besides the games you have listed, I also did
    Yemen v Tanzania 2009-11-11 = yemen-team

Yemeni players used partially different shirt numbers compared to the shared graphic, but names are good. One minor flaw, I corrected above to not confuse people, I would delete the "su", so users understand better that it was Hamza Al-Rimi.

Not sure if I want to include the game against the hunagrian league selection. Opinions?

    vs Hungary
it's difficult. I tried to check for the players, 17 out of the 22 players are capped Hungarian national team players already in the NFT system. The other 5 players were also Hungarian nationals, so the team could have been labeled as local national team as well. Considering the non-availability for foreign-based players outside the regular dates, this team could pass as national team aswell. Also having in mind, that the whole starting eleven was substituted, some of these 5 players may would have get full caps as well if full cap matches had that number of substitutions. To me it is easy to draw the line to matches which should not be considered if a League Selection includes foreigners, especially when capped foreigners, like Sint-Maarten league selection who played Anguilla this year (2024) with Saint Lucian internationals, also labelling this team as "league selection" and giving them different jerseys.
To come back to the Hungary case, in my opinion, it is a match that can be on NFT, but not a must. Only make sure to list such games as non-FIFA, so the stats don't get affected. In general, I like it when such non-FIFA games are online, showing line-ups on both sides, so users can make their own decission how official it was. At least Cyprus counts this as an official game. So, I may would include it.

02/08/83 Costa Rica 3 Cuba 0 Alejandro Morera Soto, Alajuela Carlos ÁLVAREZ (Costa Rica)

COSTA RICA Gerardo GRANJA (Alejandro GONZÁLEZ 46), Mínor ALPÍZAR (Raquel LEDEZMA 46), Jorge ALFARO, Miguel LACEY, Carlos TOPPINGS, Tomás VELÁSQUEZ (Marvin ÁLVAREZ 46), Carlos SANTANA, Enrique RIVERS (Juan CAYASSO), Álvaro SOLANO (Evaristo CORONADO 46), Guillermo GUARDIA, Marvin OBANDO Sub: Gilberto RHODEN

    Goals: Guardia 50, Álvarez 53, Obando 60

CUBA Eugenio RUIZ, Carlos LORETO, Lázaro POVEA, Juan Francisco CARO, Rolando RODRÍGUEZ, Francisco LÓPEZ, Ramón NÚÑEZ, Regino DELGADO, Ricardo PEREIRA, Jorge MASSO, Carlos GONZÁLEZ Subs: Jorge RODRÍGUEZ, Jorge MAYA, Julio César PÉREZ

As Roberto Pereira was did play the Pan-American Games later that month, and was also part of the squad during various 1984 Olympic Qualifying rounds, I supose it was him playing against Costa Rica rather than an unknow Ricardo Pereira.

15/03/83 Costa Rica 0 Mexico 1 Nacional, San José Edwin MONGE (Costa Rica)

COSTA RICA Román GONZÁLEZ, Mauricio ALPIZAR, Róger FLORES, Jorge ALFARO, Raquel LEDEZMA, Álvaro SOLANO (Gilberto RHODEN), Carlos SANTANA, Enrique RIVERS, Claudio JARA (Evaristo CORONADO), Omar ARROYO (Guillermo GUARDÍA), Enrique DÍAZ

22/03/83 Mexico 1 Costa Rica 0 Azteca, Mexico City Fermín RAMÍREZ (Mexico)

COSTA RICA Alexander GONZÁLEZ, Mauricio ALPIZAR (Marvin OBANDO), Róger FLORES, Jorge ALFARO, Raquel LEDEZMA, William ÁVILA (Marvin ÁLVAREZ), Carlos SANTANA, Enrique DÍAZ (Germán CHAVARRÍA), Claudio JARA (Gilberto RHODEN) (Guillermo GUARDÍA), Evaristo CORONADO, Enrique RIVERS

As the only Mauricio Alpízar with recorded caps was just 4 years old at that time, there must have been either another Mauricio Alpízar from who I can't find anything or a mix with given names concluding that it was in fact Minor Alpízar who was a regular player in 1983.

Regarding the goalkeeper, Alejandro González was a playing the Olympic qualifiers later in 1983, so I assume him to be that Alexander González, while I fully trust you about Román González playing the previous game, though he hadn't any other cap before 1985.

05/04/83 Mexico 2 Guatemala 0 Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles Adrian HUMPHRIES (USA)

GUATEMALA Edgar JÉREZ, GUTIÉRREZ, Víctor MONZÓN, Carlos MONTERROSO, Julio GÓMEZ, Edgar BOLAÑOS, Mynor MÉNDEZ, Byron PÉREZ, Sergio RIVERA, Julio PAREDES, JUAREZ

Carlos Monterroso did retire in 1981, so I supose you meant Benjamín Monterroso who is a few years younger and kept on playing until 1987 at club level and until 1983 at national team level where he featured various other matches in 1983.

    Uzbekistan v Singapore 2008-06-07

Are we sure this was Shahril Arias's first game... and not regular Shahril Ishak instead? 11v11

To give something beyond my old excel sheets and logical conclussions by the players' numbers, my very good friend Johnny Beaufays from GlobalSportsArchive (GSA) got an official confirmation from Singapore FA in the case of Shahril Alias/Shahril Ishak, you can check the full match report here.

Studying my old WC excel sheets and comparing the players' numbers on the match reports, I can confirm all of these cases. Just in case we copy all from the wrong sources, I want to leave the player names I overright now regarding the entering subs. Though we may are not all wrong. Fahrudin Mustafić has collected two yellow cards previously, and should have been ineligible for the 2010-10-11 match anyway.

    No, that's crap.

Brahim Souleimane Diallo was injured during 2010 WCQ matchday 1 vs Rwanda and needed a few weeks recovering. He wasn't fit before the last group match vs Morocco. So Moussa (Ould Souleymane) Fall did play matchdays 2 to 4 which were just the few following weeks. I attach you the team pic from matchday 3.

Even FIFA has mistakes on their reports. They got two confussed that Mousa Fall did took Diallo's shirt number starting from matchday 2, as Moussa Fall wasn't on the matchreport of matchday 1 as Mbaye Lamine Niang was the other keeper making that matchday squad and entered by Diallo's injury.

Absolutely great stuff about Libya. New players are in. I just don't know Ahmed Khalifa, hopefully no confussion with Ali Khalifa Rahuma or any other existing player.

05/08/06 Syria 2 Libya 1 Al Abbasiyin, Damascus Mahmoud ABBAS (Syria)

SYRIA Musab BALHOUS, Tareq JABBAN (Raffat MOHAMED 46), Ali DIAB (Abdelkader DAKKA 46), Wael AYYAN, Mahmoud AL AMNA, Atef JENYAT (Moatasem ALAYA 70), Bakri TARAB, Mahmoud AL SAYED (Yahya AL RASHID 77), Maher AL SAYED, Aref AL AGHA, Ziad CHAABO

Goals: Jenyat 23, Maher al Sayed 35

LIBYA Luis DE AGUSTINI, Ali AL HASSI (Rabei EL MSELATTI 46), Younes AL SHIBANI, Mahmoud MOGHREBI (Walid OSMAN 46), Ali AL SBAAY, Khaled HUSSAIN (Marei EL RAMLI 60), Nader EL TARHOUNI (Ali RAHUMA 60), Taril EL TAIB, Imad EL TRIKI, Osama FERJANI, Ahmed SAAD

    Goal: Saad 60

Either Othman Al-Ferjani or Osama Al-Fazzani? I could assume Al-Fazzani by the position and by the fact that he was a regular in 2006. But by the name (you are tending to switch the first names due to your sheets often just have the family name), I could conclude Othman Al-Ferjani who played in 2005 and 2007, without having any other cap in 2006.

Never heard about Mahmoud Al-Sayed. There had been a Syrian national team player with the same name playing in the 80s, so hopefully no confussion here. In the 00s we have an Abdou Al-Sayed who is as unknown to us.

Anyway, absolutely great stuff about Syria. Many thanks.

Just to double-check here, was it really teenager Evans Rusike who just played his first club season in the local league and hasn't been considered again until 2015 COSAFA Cup? Or could it have been Tafadzwa Rusike who was a regular player around 2010?
