Is the player Samir Abdul Amir maybe Saad Abdul Amir?

The first one is unofficial, but I can add it. The second one seems really obscure, most sites don't have it listed. Any opinions from the people here on what I should do with that one?

    I added the 2023 game.

It's definitely Laheeb scoring in the clip. I won't argue anything else though! Thanks again. You could provide the information yourself and make me redundant on here. ;)

Two more caps for Kiatisuk Senamuang here, he scores the goal in the first game, don't know who scores in the second:

    Thailand 1-0 Kazakhstan 1998-03-22 Bangkok

    Thailand 1-0 Kazakhstan 1998-03-26 Bangkok

These two games are not listed as internationals by most sites. I am highly doubtful they should be included.

05/06/07 Kuwait (Al Salmiya) 1 Portugal 1 Thamer, Kuwait Fared AL MARZOUQI (UAE)

KUWAIT Saleh MAHDI (NAWAF 46), RASHED (NASSER 46), Majid ABUSIDU (KHALED 46), Ahmed EIDAN, Faraj LAHEEB, Aziz AL AMAR (AZIZ 46), FAWAZ (FAHAD 46), Mohamed AL BURAIKI, Saleh AL BURAIKI (Ahmed AJAB 46), Hamad AL HARBI (SWAYED 46), Bashar ABDULLAH (Sulaiman AL SHAKIRE 46)

    Goal: Al Shakire 87

I've never took the trouble to track down the rest of the details on the al Salmiya players. Aziz could be Waleed Azaiez who was playing for al Salmiya at the time. If so, then this would raise a few issues as he was Tunisian. Goal is also credited to Laheeb in some sources.

Majid Abusidu surely is Majed Abu Al-Seidu, don't you think? So a Palestine national team player! We should definitely delete that game.

This problem will be coming up with increasing frequency as you work backwards. Throughout the seventies and eighties there are many games that are official for one team, but not the other.

Regarding the two Mubaraks playing for UAE v Iceland, I have them down as Nasser Khamis and Khalid Ismail. Can't help with the Mohameds, though.

I added the game as an unofficial friendly against a Poland XI. Also added the Mubaraks.

Poland v UAE 25/09/96 is one of those tricky ones. It's official for the UAE and listed by FIFA as a full international. The Polish F.A., however, does not consider it a full international, and labelled the team as a Polish FA XI, rather than the national team.

What do we do? Leave it aside, or add it as a Non-FIFA for UAE against a Poland XI.

So I looked at the first game (against iceland), andadded some players, but of course I cannot know who the two Mohameds and the two Mubaraks are.

My personal belief is that the national federations decide upon the validity of the game, rather than FIFA. Particularly noticeable in the case of Edwardian England games. FIFA claims that the matches of the England Amateur XI against other European sides are full internationals. This is plainly not the case as far as England are concerned.

It is really difficult, and no system makes complete sense. We could add the USA vs Denmark League match as a Non-Fifa game for the US, but I would include it for Denmark.

    Hi Benjamin,

Thank you again for your great work - as a community we're all aware that it's been v stressful for you as of late.

Just to say that I don't think Bermuda's performance in the 2023 Island Games (link to Wiki), needs to be included on this site as Bermuda apparently sent their Under-23s team - which shouldn't count towards their overall cap number - unless I've missed something!

    Thanks again,

    Felix

Hi - like all Island Games matches they are couinted as Non-FIFA.

The Malaysian line-up is the worst I've seen for a national team game. Ever. People seem to have come off and on as they wanted to. I can't do the resubs, because the database would then register it as two games for the player. So I will leave them out. Really, this one should probably not be added at all, but I will add it for the moment.

Kenya v Uganda. Yes, that should be 18/12/04. Changes are from an official Kenyan source.

Sorry, I still don't get it. The changes you mentioned don't seem to correlate to that game at all. Or I am just confused by now. I think I need a step-by-step guide to what I am to change in that game.

I was able to identify six of the players of the starting line-up, and I hope I got them right. If anyone can help with the others, that would be great. Please try to use the names we use on the website. Or tell us how we should name the players correctly.
