    @all: something general. When I do player careers I am trying to make a continued club trivia from the first time a player made a senior team's matchday squad until he retires, without having missing seasons avoiding gaps in that club trivia.
    In the current case Majak Mawith did play in the national team 2020 & 2021. Some nomination lists still credited him as Port Melbourne Sharks player. I am not too deep in that exact case, just knowing similiar cases from my club when an injured player didn't got a new contract, but kept on training with the team as "free agent", until got signed again in case of one of the two/three contracted keepers got injured. Not entirely sure if this was the case for Majak Mawith. Especially as 2020 season was shortened due to the pandemic. In any case, Majak Mawith didn't got another club in 2020 and 2021. So, to me it's best to keep him with Port Melbourne Sharks by 0 games/0 goals (as we have NPL stats). And then comes the general part, we may could leave a gap for 2020 and 2021 (there may are even clearer cases when a player served a season long ban), but a gap always provokes searching over and over again for which club a player played in that missing years, each time I (or some other user) is taking a look at his club career. As we still have so many incompleted player careers (especially in countries like South Sudan) with gaps for years in which players played for unknown clubs, I prefer the 0/0-season mentioning to make clear that the player didn't play competitive club football that year. And please, that doesn't mean at all that you should search for such cases, we probably won't add them anyway. It just shall explain why I don't want to delete such club affiliations creating gaps again, as I think the 0/0-way makes the players club progress a bit clearer than a gap we never can be sure if it's a real gap or just an unknown club.

    Thank you for your expanded remarks. I remember you, we communicated via e-mail before. You can find PDF files of Victoria Premier Leagues squads if they are still available... You fill not see his name in the squad of Port Melborne Sharks, these seasons. He was injured, you can find on Facebook if you wish. He was not playing for any clubs during this mentioned period.

    The SSFA was not fully professional when they published squad lists by that time. I have been following Australia Regional Football by that time. Unfortunately his club PM Sharks have not published his release, but that is not the only case at that level.

    Mawith was on trip in France when the pandemic began.

    OK, I accept your position... Sometimes it takes a lot of effort and time to confirm something.

    There are players we don't have information like Arop Kuol, even me, I have checked almost all regional Kenyan football pages in 2026 and can't give any answer.
