Could this unknown be Fareed Majeed ? He played internationals in 1997 and 1998. Can't say for sure, but has a little likeness

You actually read my mind lol. I was going to put him, but left as I was still not completely sure and didn't really knew this player. Here is a clearer pic of his face although in his older years I recently submitted to his database, I found it here. They indeed very much look alike, I share ur thoughts and would say that's definitely him. Does anyone have any more opinions on this

A few changes here for Egypt. Backed up by macedonianfootball and Dr. Tarek Said

Medhat Abdel-Hady and Abdel-Sattar Sabry start instead of Amr Fahim and Hany Ramzy, who don't play.

4 subs for Egypt: Yasser Rayan for Abdel-Sattar Sabry (69th) / Osama Nabih for Mohamed Emara (75th) / 'Bebo' for Hazem Eman (80th) / Mohamed Sabry for Ahmed Hassan (85th).

    Iran vs. Pakistan 1986-02-16

Pics of the starting lineup of all three matches at the 1986 Fajr International Tournament. This pic with green shirt is against Poland U21, so discarded. This can be verified by this pic that it was against Poland youth. The rest two matches were against Iran national team (official) and Al Fotuwa SC (unofficial) where the team played with the white kit. So we have the pics of the two remaining matches:

    Source: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid…84860991&type=3

Since the match report in national-teams is saying Shahzada Arbab Kasi (second standing from right to left in last pic) was present at the match, likely the last pic is of the match against Iran if he was indeed present or he didn't came as substitute. However, the players present in both two lineups missing in the report are:

Mukhtar Ali, Ejaz Ali, Jamshaid Anwar Rana, Shaukat Mufti, Agha Saeed, Samuel Gill, Fida Ur Rehman

Add: Looks like the matches against Poland U21 and Al Fotuwa SC were held in Azadi Stadium, while the match against Iran was held at Shahid Shiroudi Stadium. The last pic venue looks different compared to the other two pics, so most possibly the last pic is of the match against Iran.

    Jordan vs. Pakistan 1992-08-20

Found this pic from the facebook profile a Pakistani player who made his debut "Mohammad Khaled Khan" (sitting at far left shirt number 6).

So far for the rest of players I can recognise are Mohamed Noman (second standing from left shirt number 10), Zafar Iqbal (fourth standing from left shirt num 4), and Mohammad Tariq Hussain (second sitting from left shirt num 3).

    Source: https://www.facebook.com/khaled.khan.39…dfo4KTk9wCaXPcl

Found a clearer version of this lineup (Jordan vs. Pakistan 1992-08-20)

Rest of players I can identify are Naeem Khalid (sitting far right, number 2 shirt) and Muhammad Munir (goalkeeper, uncreated)

    Pic for Muhammad Munir

    Place of birth: Lahore, Pakistan

    Position: Goalkeeper

Played for Pakistan Railways (1984-??) and Wohaib (1992-1993) according to this post

    Tahir Agha

Date of birth: 12 December 1970

    Place of birth: Quetta, Pakistan

    Position: Midfielder

    Pic:

    Source with his info: https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=81…813939281977153

The pic on him is extracted from the following team roster of the national team in 1993, likely during the 1993 SAARC Gold Cup and would be a great resource to complete missing data (name, DOB, position, and pic) of players of the 1990s, but unfortunately it is blurry and havent been able to find a clearer version so far

    Iraq v Palestine 2018-12-28

Few more Palestine subs: Oday Dabbagh for Yashir Pinto and Khaled Salem for Mahmoud Wali.

It also mentions Mahdi Kamil Sheltagh playing instead of Mahdi Karim Ajeel. I don't know for sure but considering Mahdi Karim Ajeel retired from club football a year earlier I lean to agree with this.

    Source: ESPN

Just going to come back to this as I've noticed an error. Mahdi Karim Ajeel is still mentioned in the substitutions coming off for Bashar Rasan Bonyan. He needs replacing with Mahdi Kamil Sheltagh.

Just to complete the Palestine substitutions as well: Jonathan Cantillana for Sameh Maaraba (53rd), Oday Dabbagh for Yashir Pinto (61st), Khaled Salem for Mahmoud Wadi (74th) and Musab Battat for Tamer Seyam (83rd).

Yes, we believe transfermarkt here. To mention a great local source here we see Menad confirmed. I think that's the kind of missing data which happens when putting matches online and the uploader just forgets something, as the match wasn't set to "partially missing" either. So, good work of yours Ro83rto to spot that one.

I realise these are mistakes and not missing data, but I just wanted to reply to this post as a thank you for bringing the source to my attention and thus have used said source for my own records, and only noticed a couple that differ from their records and yours:

    Algeria v Morocco 1986-03-08

Nasser Bouiche starts here instead of Rabah Madjer and it's Nasser himself, not Nacer that goes off for Hakim Medane. Nacer plays the full match.

    Tunisia v Algeria 1987-01-11

Nacer Mekideche plays here instead of Tahar Cherif El-Ouazzani.

An update on this. I found this pic of Sri Lanka vs. Pakistan 2001-05-30. The player sitting at the far right looks exactly like him. In the report, a player named Zaffar Majeed played as a starter and was involved with Karachi Port Trust (KPT) at club level as the previous pic mentioned alongside his name, so maybe him and Fareed Majeed are the same? Would like a double confirmation but looks interesting.

Standing L-R: Gohar Zaman, Unknown, Muhammad Essa, Noman Ibrahim, Unknown, Sarfraz Rasool

Sitting L-R: Adeel Ahmed, Mohammad Arshad, Haroon Yousaf, Muhammad Riaz, Unknown

Unknown players to me mentioned in the starting lineup are Amir Shahzad, Amir Riaz and Zaffar Majeed (could be the one sitting far right)

Some random lineups of Pakistan which I have in my draft since months. I know the context but unfortunately cant seem to determine the exact match. Hopefully this can serve for future reference.

    1) 1986 Asian Games, lineup is of that tournament as Mohammed Naveed was captain. The team played four matches all of them with the lineups missing here. For the complete participating squad see this.

Standing L-R: Mohammed Naveed, Mukhtar Ali, Jamshaid Anwar Rana, Ghulam Sarwar "Teddy", Arbab Shahzada, Samuel Gill

Sitting L-R: Zafar Iqbal, Fida Ur Rehman, Ejaz Ali, Abdul Samad, Abdul Wahid

    2) A lineup in 1999, most possibly at the 1999 South Asian Games judging by the kit, don't know if the team played with same kit at the 1999 SAFF Gold Cup. So far the match against Nepal at the 1999 South Asian Games is covered in a previous post, and the team played with a different white kit, so possibly the lineup could belong to the match against India or Bhutan.

Standing L-R: Muhammad Ejaz, Khuda Bakhsh, Muhammad Idrees (coach), Pedro Dias (coach), Najeeb Ullah Najmi (coach), Haroon Yousaf, Gohar Zaman, Sarfraz Rasool

Sitting L-R: Unknown (maybe "Muhammad Shafique" judging by the pic), Malik Sher (uncreated, pic), Babar Mehmood, Muhammad Younis, Unknown (too many similar faces, either Allah Nawaz, Ghulam Murtaza or Muhammad Sajjad Bhatti), Dilshad Ali

Face pics of 1999 SAF Games players can be accessed here.

Mohammad Arshad (num.8) also played at India vs. Pakistan 1999-09-26 as evidenced by this, maybe came as substitute or the lineup pic is not of that match and instead of the match against Bhutan at the same tournament.

Some more pics of India vs. Pakistan 1999-09-26.

Looks like I.M. Vijayan's penalty goal here:

A Zafar Majeed search has conjured up this random video of him on youtube

Whilst not conclusive, I see enough difference in the lips, ears and hairline to side with Zafar and Fareed being two different Majeed's.

    Ghulam 'Teddy' Sarwar

In this interview (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bC8ikN1FRR4), he claims "his real year of birth is 1966 but had to fake being of 1962 in his identity card to play football earlier". I am a bit confused on this as usually it is the opposite.

In this post of a roster of Pakistan for a match against a german team in 1983, both him and Sharafat Ali are shown and both definitely look very young and the same age, so I lean towards him being of 1966. In this 2021 post and this 2022 post, the OP wish him birthday on 27 February in both posts each year, so I place his DOB as 27 February 1966.

For Sharafat Ali, looks like there is also some inconsistency. Although his biography state his DOB as 1 June 1966, this post of his birthday wishing is on 6 May, to which Sharafat thanked with his profile. Would be better if someone with access to old databases could double check on this one.

Guess we will never be 100% accurate with the DOBs of Pakistani players when even with the actual players there is loads of contradicting info
