vs Oman 14.1.09

Mohammed Saqer, Belal Mohammed, Moosa Haroun (Marcony Ameral), Mesaad Al-Hamad, Abdullah Koni, Hussein Yasser (Majdi Siddiq), Talal Al-Bloushi, Mohammed Al-Yazidi, Khalfan Ibrahim, Waleed Jasim (Yousuf Ahmed), Sebastian Soria.

Match vs. Iraq on 31.5.09 is non-FIFA but is listed as missing. I don't know if the Iraq data was added but apparently both teams used a lot of subs for this. Perhaps it should be deleted.

For 2010, nine matches have been added so far with 4 missing (total 13), they played 14 that year. I'm assuming that the game against Haiti on 18.11 hasn't been added yet? Also, remove one goal for Sebastian Soria and add it to Fabio Cesar.

I don't have the Qatar details for the Iraq game but Iraq used 13 substitutes!

I really don't know which one is missing. The game against Haiti seems to be added on the Haiti side.

If the Haiti details were added then it's probably the one that is missing but not labeled as such. Caribbean Football Database has the Qatar line-up but only two subs known.

vs. North Korea 31.12.10

Qasem Burhan, Bilal Mohammed, Ibrahim Majed, Hamed Ismail, Mohammed Kasoula, Mohammed Al-Sayed, Wissam Riziq, Hussein Yaser, Fabio Cesar, Lawrence Quaye, Sebastian Soria.

Known subs used: Khalid Muftah, Ali Afif, Yusuf Ahmed

Those are the only subs I could find. Possibly more were used.

The data I gave for the match against Oman on 14.1.09, there is a mistake. Abdullah Koni did not play and I have no idea who did. The line-up and subs correct except for one player missing. My bad! :o

Previously, as you could see above, I asked about a supposed missing match for 2010. I've found the problem. Saad Al Sheeb and Sebastian Soria should have 1 more cap to their name. That's why it seemed like there was a match left out. It's from the Iran friendly from 28 December 2010. The site Teammelli only listed 9 starters for Qatar and should have included goalkeeper Al Sheeb and Soria. Although I don't know where the other substitute info was found but that's besides the point I guess. :D

The other sub info came from my business contacts in the Middle East, who provide us with a lot of the extra info lacking in the English speaking media. Sadly, I'll be losing business contact with most of them after I change jobs tomorrow but I'll try and keep things as complete as possible throught them. On the plus side, however, I should be getting more contacts in the South East Asian area. I need to cultivate someone who can read Laotian, as they tend to be the most secretive country in the region. I'll certainly be dealing with a lot of Thai speakers, so that should be a help too.

My friends in the Middle East have come up trumps again! Here's yesterday's line-ups.

17/04/13 Qatar 2 Palestine 0 Jassim bin Hamad, Doha Sami AL NEMRI (Saudi Arabia)

QATAR Qasim BURHAN, Musab MAHMOUD, Ibrahim AL GHANIM (Hassan AL HAYDOOS 46), Ibrahim ABDUL MAJID, Abdel Karim HASSAN (Mohamed KASOULA 46), Wesam RIZK, Talal AL BLOUSHI (Khaled MEFTAH 46), Khalfan IBRAHIM, Hamid ISMAIL (Abdul Karim SALEM 46), Mohamed AL SAYED (Yusuf AHMED 46), Jarrallah AL MARRI (Abdul Kadir ILYAS 50)

Goals: Kasoula 79, Ahmed 89

PALESTINE Toufic ALI, Raed FARES, Nadim BARGHOUTHI, Khaled MAHDI, Musa ABU JAZAR, Suleiman OBAID, Husam WADI, Murad ISMAIL, Ahmed MAHER, Mohamed BARAKAT, Alaa ATTIEH Subs: Mahmoud SALAH, Abed KAEBIA, Fayez ASLIEH, Maen JAMAL, Musab AL BATTAT

Those are the subs that were used for Palestine. Unfortunately, I have no contacts who watched the match, so they can't tell me who they came on for.
